Dependable defender who rarely puts a foot wrong, Paul was another player signed from the Peebles 2007-08 promotion winning side before the start of 2008-09 season. Was a rock at the heart of defence during his first season and was extemely unlucky to have missed out on any Player of the Year awards. Moved from centre-half to left-back for the 2009-10 campaign, it was another season full of solid displays for Paul, with his contribution to the promotion winning effort a significant one. During 2010-11 season, Paul was appointed captain of the side following the departure of Mike Stewart and yet another outstanding season saw him awarded a much-deserved Player of the Year award.
