Highly-rated 'Beats' is probably the most versatile member of the squad. A creative midfielder playing in the centre or right side of the park at his previous club, he found himself in the unfamiliar position of centre-half in a couple of pre-season games and went on to find himself playing at right-back and left-back in addition to his favoured position during the 2010-11 Premier Division campaign. Joined Vale from Leith Athletic in the summer of 2010. Started the current campaign in tremedous form and is a real asset to the squad.
