Vale Competitive Debut 09/08/08 v Craigroyston, East of Scotland League First Division
Tricky young winger who loves to take players on, Andy was playing senior football for Peebles at the age of just 16. Not expected to become a regular in his first season at Victoria Park, some sparkling performances made him a permanent fixture on the team sheet. Suffered a horror injury in the Scottish Cup tie against Glasgow University which led to the game being held up for half an hour while paramedics were called to the scene, but bounced back to end 2008-09 in blistering form. Carried that form into 2009-10 with some great play out wide seeing him set up countless goals for his colleagues. Again suffered an unfortunate injury in the final game of the season against Eyemouth United, where ligament damage kept him out of pre-season 2010-11. Returned to full fitness and made his mark on Vale's Premier Division campaign, carrying his good form into the current campaign during which he reached the landmark of 100 appearances for the club in October.
