‘Rosco’ arrived at the club in the summer of 2005 after four years at Newtongrange Star ‘A’, having won Player of The Year there in season 2004-05. Has what they call in the trade, 'a good engine,' and turned in consistent displays down the left flank during 2005-06. Missed the start of 2006-07 season after an extended summer coaching soccer in the USA and when he returned occupied a midfield role before returning to his favoured position at left-back. His outstanding form during season 2007-08 led to Ross being voted both Players Player and Supporters Player of the Year at the end of that season. An extremely talented player in many areas of the game, one of his most potent assets is the quality of his delivery from dead-ball situations. Recently returned from a few months of travelling in Asia and the Southern Hemisphere, and looking to cement his place once again in the starting line-up.
